Now to more important things! Kelly and Tony blessed me with the opportunity to shoot my first beach wedding in Cancun. Not just that, but they were one of my all time favorite couples to work with. Below are just a few of the images captured during a day hugely full of happiness. You know they are special when 40 of their family and friends made the trip to share their special day too!
Their good friend, Beth Helmstetter, was also their wedding planner and she did a phenominal job! A crazy harsh, but quick storm decided to pass through about 15 min before the ceremony was supposed to start and soaked all of the wonderful things she had set up for the reception. But that was not going to keep her down. Along with the help of the hotel staff, the reception was set up "AGAIN", by the time that the ceremony on the beach was finished. By that time, Beth was soaked, covered in sand, and had a broken toe, but she never faltered.
All this went on while Kelly and Tony were being married on the beach by a judge who told them during the ceremony she did not speak english and they were going to have to "wing" their vows! They cracked up and so did everyone else!
I am so glad I got to be a part of their day! Congrats Kelly and Tony!
